New-make spirit is the colourless liquid that is taken from the spirit still after distillation. By law, it can’t be called whisky until it has spent a minimum of three years maturing in an oak cask.

Each malt whisky has a unique new-make spirit. Each one is a little bit different as a result of four key elements – the barley, the duration of fermentation, the shape of the still and the point at which the stillman at the distillery ‘cuts’ the spirit during distillation.

Little Wood Whisky will only be sold at the Distillery or at your local Whisky-shop. First members will always have the opportunity to enter a presale from upcoming bottlings.

Little Wood “the First” will be launched in 2025. This highly awaited bottling will only be available at the Little Wood distillery. After this limited release, there will be launched a few Single Malt’s every now and then.

Little Wood Black Gin, also called our “Pinot Noir” Gin is a light blush coloured gin.

This is derived from Belgian wine grape skins from Pinot Noir, which is then blended with a neutral grain spirit. The flavour profile is a fusion of bright citrus and soft, ripe summer berries with the classic notes of juniper and floral aromatics.

It's made with distilled Pinot Noir grape skins and blended with English wheat spirit, and features a selection of botanicals including dried red berries, rose buds, coriander, angelica, grains of paradise, citrus, rosehip and juniper. The base product of whisky is beer without the use of hop. Located in Belgium (biggest beer country in the world), we are very proud on our National beer history, so we decided to create three delicious beers, which are sold in the shop, online or to taste in the bar at the distillery.

• A blond Triple beer (whisky barrel aged)
• A Dark beer (whisky barrel aged)
• A Dark Whisky infused beer

Whisky Paté

With a local butcher we decided to create a delicious Whisky Paté. You can taste it with selfmade bread (from the draf) at the “Little Wood bar”, and is for sale in the shop and online.

Whisky Pralines

Next to beer, Belgium is known all over the world for it’s delicious chocolate. Together with pricewinning chocolate maker “Calinor” (Gault Millau); we created delicious Whisky Pralines. These are sold at the Distillery, online and in Calinor shops.
